ORDINANCE N0. ~~® AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE POSSESSION OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS AND NON-INTOXICATING BEER BY PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 21 YEARS, AND MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 21 YEARS TO PURCHASE, RECEIVE OR ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE OR RECEIVE INTOXICATING LIQUORS OR NON-INTOXICATING BEER, AND MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 21 YEARS TO MISREPRESENT THEIR AGE FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING INTOXICATING LIQUORS OR NON-INTOXICATING BEER, AND PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to have in his possession intoxicating liquors or non-intoxicating beer within the city limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri. Section 2. That it shall be unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to purchase, ask for, or in any way receive, or to attempt to purchase, ask for, or in any way receive intoxicating liquors or non-intoxicating beer within the city limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri. Section 3. That it shall be unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years to represent that he has attained the age of 21 years for the purpose of purchasing, asking for, or in any way receiving intoxicating liquors or non-intoxicating beer within the city limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri. Section 4. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $100.00, or by imprisonment not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and impr~sornnent.
