HomeMy WebLinkAbout1961-343 - Terms of contract for Maintenance of Public Sewer LineBILL NO.~!~_ UttDINANCE N0. ~ ~~ AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE TERMS OF A CONTRACT FOR THE MAINTEN- ANCE OF A PUBLIC SEWER LINE IN THE RIGHT OF WAY OF HIGH DRIVE, A PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE; AND AUTHORIZING AND DI- RECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SUCH CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND THE CITY CLERK TO ATTEST THE SIGNATURE OF THE MAYOR AND TO AFFIX THE SEAL OF THE CITY THERETO. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It is deemed to be to the best interests, of the citizens of the City of Riverside that the developer of a tract of land in Brencrest Addition in the City of Riverside be permitted at his own expense to construct a sewer in the right-of- way of High Drive in said city from said addition to Line Creek in said city and that upon completion such sewer shall belong to the city and connections into said sewer shall be allowed on such terms and conditions as the city shall prescribe. Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and instrue- ted to enter into on behalf of the city, a written contract with such developer which shall be in words and figures as set forth in "Exhibit A" attahced hereto and made a part hereof by reference. Section 3. The City Clerk is authorized and instruct- ed to attest the MayorIIS signature on such contract and to affix the seal of the city thereto. PASSED this ~ day of April, 1961.
