BIDS FOR CONSTRUC-
N THE CITY OF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to advertise
in the Platte County Dispatch for bids on the construction of ¢,,~~%~~~
~~sewer,~~'in Sewer District Number 8 pursuant to plans
and specifications heretofore approved.
Section 2. The advertisement shall notify all bidders to
furnish information as to their experience, equipment and bonding
capacity as shall be requested by the Acting City Engineer.
Section 3. Such adv rtisement shall be inserted in the

bids will be opened at x:00 o clock P.M, on ro~~1~/~ 6 9
at the Board of Aldermen's meeting of the City of Riverside, Missouri.
Section 4. Bidders will be required to file a Proposal
Guarantee with their bid consisting of a bid bond issued by surety
companies authorized to do business in Missouri, cashier's check
or certified check drawn on any acceptable bank payable to the
City of Riverside, Platte County, Missouri, in an amount not less
than five per cent (5%) of the total amount of their bid.
Each proposal shall be conditioned that the successful bidder
will, within ten (10) days after the award of contract, enter into
a written agreement and file with the City Clerk a good and suffi-
cient performance bond in the full amount of the contract and that
upon failure to do so the Proposal Guarantee Deposit will be for-
feited as damages sustained by the City as a result of such failure,
and the award may be rescinded and the contract awarded to the
next best or lowest bidder. The bond shall be written by bonding
companies authorized to do business in the State of Missouri.
