A RESOLUTION APPROVING TASK ORDER NUMBER 4 WITH OLSSON, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen hereby approves Task Order Number 4
by and between the City of Riverside and Olsson, Inc., in substantially the form attached
hereto, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Task Order Number 4 on behalf of
the City; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator and other appropriate City
officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary
or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute
and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and
other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein
authorized; and
FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.

Mayor of the City of Riverside Missouri the 5th day of May 2026.

Task Order Number 4
For Engineering Services
This Task Order is entered into as of the 5th da y of Ma y, 2026 (the "Effective Date"), by
and between Olsson, a Nebraska corporation having an office at 1301 Burlington St, Suite 100,
North Kansas City, MO 64116 ("Olsson") and the City of Riverside, Missouri, a Missouri
municipal corporation (the "City").
WHEREAS, the City has engaged Olsson to provide engineering services pursuant to
the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6th , 2020 pursuant to which the City may
task Olsson to provide additional professional engineering services on a project-specific basis
by acknowledging a separate Task Order.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants between the
parties and for other good and valuable consideration the receipt of which is acknowledged by
the parties, they agree as follows:
1. Incorporation of Base Agreement. This Task Order is subject to all terms and
conditions contained in the Agreement for Engineering Services dated October 6th , 2020, that
are not inconsistent with the specific terms contained herein, and the Agreement for
Engineering Services dated October 6th , 2020, between the parties is incorporated herein as if
set forth in full by this reference.
2. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services pursuant to this Task Order are as
contained in Exhibit A .
3. Term . Olsson shall begin work pursuant to this Task Order upon its Effective Date, and
shall continue until the Variety KC Park Road and Culvert 629-026 ("Project") is completed as
evidenced by final acceptance of the Project by the City .
4. Compensation. Compensation is set forth in this Task Order.
5. Project Schedule. Project schedule is set forth in this Task Order .

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Olsson's Scope of Services for the Agreement is indicated below.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Olsson shall provide the following services (Scope of Services) to Client for the Project:
Phase 100-Survey Services
Topographic Design Survey $4,200.00
Olsson shall provide a topographic design survey for Project site, as shown on the attached
Exhibit B. Survey shall depict all observed utilities, existing contours at one-foot intervals,
existing feature locations (buildings, driveways, fencing, vegetation). Utility companies will be
contacted through Missouri One Call System, and marked utilities will be shown. Survey will
include centerline of pavement data 500 feet beyond Project limits. Survey data will be based
on the Missouri State Plane Coordinate System, NAO 1983 West Zone and the North
American Vertical Datum, NAVO 88, and will depict rights-of-way along and on each side of
Horizons Parkway and NW 41 st Street, adjacent and within topographic areas, as required.
Utility location and mapping are for horizontal location of above ground and underground
utilities only. Utility depths other than sewers will not be obtained or indicated on survey.
Survey of utilities will be based on tracing and marking by One Call utility locator. Utility
mapping is not exact, and it is possible that not all utility lines will be located. Olsson is not
responsible for mis-marked or unmarked utilities.
Phase 200 -Design and Construction Documents
Intersection Control Review $7,300.00
Olsson shall prepare plan and profile drawings for roadway improvements including the
continuation of a sidewalk, and stormwater analysis associated with the culvert crossing.
Roadway design shall tie into the elevations shown on the approved design plans for the road
and parking lot serving the Variety KC Inclusive Park -Phase 2. Plans will be developed to
a level of detail sufficient for contractor bidding and construction.
Phase 300 -Limited Construction Administration
Limited Construction Administration $1,200.00
Olsson shall provide construction administration services, including reviewing submittals and
responding to Contractor questions, as required.

ASSUMPTIONS
• Title reports or new right-of-way/easement descriptions are not required.
• Survey provided will be in AutoCAD format only.
• Plans will be provided to Client in digital PDF format.
• Utility relocations are currently unknown. If required, relocations will be designed by the
respective utilities or Olsson can provide these services under a supplemental agreement.
• Disturbed area will be less than one (1) acre, and a site disturbance permit and Stormwater
Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) are not required. If these documents/plans are required,
Olsson can provide these services under a supplemental agreement.
• Permitting fees will be paid by Client, as required.
EXCLUSIONS
• Utility design (electric, gas, comm/fiber, waterline, et cetera)
• Utility potholes
• Boundary or topographic survey data outside Project limits (subject to centerline of pavement
data as described above)
• Title work
• Right-of-way and easement description writing
• Environmental investigation and permitting
• Geotechnical investigations
• Retaining wall and structural design
• Visualizations and 3D renderings
• Attendance at and preparation for public meetings
• As-built survey or plans
• Services not specifically detailed in this Scope of Services

Olsson will endeavor to start its services on the Anticipated Start Date and to complete its services on
the Anticipated Completion Date. However, the Anticipated Start Date, the Anticipated Completion
Date, and any milestone dates are approximate only, and Olsson reserves the right to adjust its
schedule and any or all of those dates at its sole discretion, for any reason, including, but not limited
to, delays caused by Client or delays caused by third parties.
Should Client request work in addition to the Scope of Services, Olsson shall invoice Client for such
additional services (Optional Additional Services) at the standard hourly billing labor rate charged
for those employees actually performing the work, plus reimbursable expenses if any. Olsson shall
not commence work on Optional Additional Services without Client's prior written approval.
