Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to procure
any article or thing of value or for the payment of any past due dept
or other obligation of any form or nature or r"or any other purposq to
mace or draw or utter or deliver, with intent to defraud, any check,
draft or order, for the payment of money, upon any bank or depositary,
mowing at the time oL such making, drawing or uttering or delivering
that the maker or drawer has not sufficient funds in or credited wit2,.
such bank or other depositary, for the payment of such check, draft
or order~in full upon its presentation.
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of this
ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not more than One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment in the city jail for not more
than thirty (30) days or ~by both such fine and imprisonment.
