DORSEY AS SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE DURING THE VA- CANCY IN THE OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY AND PROVIDING THE RATE OF COMPENSATION TO BE PAID THEREFOR. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE , AS FOLLOWS : Section 1. Due to the fact that there exists a vacancy in the office of City Attorney for the City of Riverside, it is hereby decreed that Ward A. Dorsey, attorney-at-law shall be and he hereby is employed by the City of Riverside as spec- ial legal counsel to serve as such until the further order of this board. Services rendered by said Ward A. Dorsey prior to the passage of this ordinance are hereby ratified and author- ized and to be paid for at the rate prescribed herein. Section 2. His duties as special legal counsel shall be to render to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen such legal services as may be required by said Mayor and Board. Section 3. The rate of compensation to be paid said Ward A. Dorsey shall be $15.00 per hour. Passed this 13 day of Feb.,1952. /s/ F.F.
