HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-12 Dividing City into Three WardsBILL NO. 12 ORDINANCE NO. 12 Amended 12a1 12a2 AN ORDINANCE DIVIDING THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE INTO THREE WARDS: AND PRESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMAN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, AS FOLLOWS: Section I. The City of Riverside is hereby divided into three wards to be known as the First Ward, Second Ward and Third Ward. Section 2. The boundaries of the respective wards shall be as follows: First Ward: Bounded on the south by Missouri River, on the West by the East line of Section Five (5) and Section Eight (8) Township Fifty (50) North, Range Thirty-three (33) West on the North by U. S. Highway 69 and 169, on the East by the line between Platte and Clay Counties. Second Ward: Bounded on the North by the East and West Center line of Section Thirty-three (33) Township Fifty-one (51) North Range Thirty-three (33) Weston the East by Line Creek, on the South by U.S. Highway 69 and 169, on the West the East Line of Section Five (5), Township Fifty (50) North, Range Thirty-three West. Third Ward: Bounded on the North by the North line of the Southeast Quarter of Section Thirty- two (32) Township Fifty-one (51) North, Range Thirty-three(33) West, on the East by t he East line of Section Thirty-two (32) and the East line of Seotion Five (5) and the East line of Seotion Eight (8) in Township Fifty (50) North, Range Thirty-three (33) West, on the South by Missouri River, on the West by the North and South center lines of Section Eight (8) and Section Five (5) in Township Fifty (50) North, Range Thirty-three (33) West and the West line of the Southeast quarter of Section Thirty- two (32) in Township Fifty-one (51) North, Range Thirty-three (33) West.
