An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 12 and Ordinance No. 78-A, of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, by CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE FIRST
WARD AND THE THIRD WARD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, as follows:
Section 1 - Ordinance No. 12 and Ordinance No. 78-A of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, are hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1 (a) - The City of Riverside is hereby divided into
three Wards, to be known as the First Ward, Second Ward and Third Ward.
Section 1 (b) - The boundaries of the respective wards shall be as follows:
FIRST WARD: Bounded as follows:
Beginning with the intersection of the northerly line of the
right-of-way of the C.B. & Q R.R. with the west city limits of Riverside,
Missouri, being also the east city limits of Parkville, Missouri; thence
south along said west city limits of Riverside, Missouri, to the center
of the Missouri River, being the southerly limits of Riverside, Missouri
and of Platte County, Missouri; thence following in an easterly direc-
tion along said southerly limits of Riverside and Platte County, Mis-
souri, to the southeast corner of said limits of Riverside and Platte
County, Missouri; \thence north along the east city limits of Riverside
and Platte County, Missouri/to its intersection with the center line of
Hansen Creek; thence westerly following the center line of said Hansen
Creek to its intersection with the center line of Line Creek; thence
northerly along said center line of Line Creek to its intersection with
the south line of Lot Nine, Rose Valley, a subdivision of land in Platte
County (now in Riverside); thence west along the south line of said Lot
Nine, Rose Valley, to the easterly line of the right-of-way of Karen
Street; thence northerly along the easterly line of the right-of-way
of said Karen Street to the southerly line of the right-of-way of U.S.
Highways Nos. 69 and 169, and continuing on a straight line protracted
from the easterly line of the right-of-way of said Karen Street to its
intersection with the center line of U. S. Highways Nos. 69 and 169;
thence southeasterly along the center line of said U. S. Highways Nos.
69 and 169 to its intersection with the center line of/U. S. Highway No.
71; thence northerly along the center line of)said U. S. Highway No. 71
to its intersection with the center line of the northeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of Sec. 4, T.50, R.33; thence west to the center line
of the northwest quarter of Sec. 4, T. 50, R.33; thence south to the
center line of Larson Road; thence west along the center line of Lar-
son Road to the west line of Sec. 4, T.50, R.33; thence south along
said west line of Sec. 4, T.50, R. 33, to the north line of the right-
of-way of the C.B. & Q R.R.; thence northwesterly along said northerly
line of said right-of-way of said Railroad to the west city limits of
the City of Riverside, being the point of beginning.
SECOND WARD: Bounded as follows:
Beginning with the intersection of the east city limits of the
City of Riverside (being the east line of Platte County) with the center
line of Hansen Creek; thence westerly following the center line of said
Hansen Creek to its intersection with the center line of Line Creek;

thence northerly along the center line of said U. S. Highway No. 71
to its intersection with the center line of the northeast quarter of
the northwest quarter of Sec. 4, T.50, R.33; thence west to the cen-
ter line of the northwest quarter of Sec. 4, T. 50, R. 33; thence
south to the center line of Larson Road; thence west along the center
line of Larson Road to the west line of Sec. 4, T. 50, R. 33; thence
north along the west line of Sec. 4, T. 50, R. 33, and along the west
line of Sec. 33, T. 51, R. 33, to the center line of said Sec. 33, T. 51
R. 33; thence east to the center line of Line Creek (being the easterly
city limits of Riverside, Missouri); thence southerly along the easterly
city limits of Riverside, Missouri, following the center line of Line
Creek, the center line of U. S. Highways Nos. 69 and 169, and the east
Platte County line to the point of beginning, being the intersection of
the east city limits with the center line of Hanson Creek.
THIRD WARD: Bounded as follows:
Beginning with the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of
Sec. 32, T. 51, R. 33; thence west to the center of said Sec. 32, T. 51
R. 33; thence south along the center line of said Sec. 32, and con-
tinuing south along the center line of Sec. 5, T. 50, R. 33, to its
intersection with a line drawn 300 feet north of and parallel to the
north line of the right-of-way of Missouri State Highway No. 45; thence
in a westerly direction along said line drawn 3)0 feet northerly of and
parallel to said north line of the right-of-way of said Missouri State
Highway No. 45 to its intersection with the east city limits of Park-
ville Missouri (being also the west city limits of Riverside, Mis-
souri); thence south along said west city limits of Riverside, Mis-
souri, to the northerly line of the right-of-way of the C.B. & Q R.R.;
thence southeasterly along said northerly line of said right-of-way of
the C.B. & Q R.R. to the east line of Sec. 5, T. 50, R. 33; thence
north along said east line of said Sec. 5 to the north line of said
Section and continuing north along the east line of Sec. 32, T. 51,
R. 33, to the point of beginning.
