AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE AND ENACTING AND PROVIDING FOR REnUIREMENTS AS TO
PLUMBING FACILITIES IN NEW DWELLINGS IN SAID CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. No person, firm or corporation henceforth
shall use or permit to be used any dwelling or other structure
for human habitation which shall be constructed or placed upon
any land within the city limits of Riverside after the enactment
of this ordinance unless such dwelling or structure shall con-
tain an inside toilet, bath,and kitchen washing facilities con-
nected to a pressurized water system.
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of
this ordinance shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed
One Hundred (6100.00) Dollars and costs or ninety (90) days
imprisonment in jail, or both such fine and imprisonment, and
each days violation shall be a separate offense.
