AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 AND 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 15
BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN THE TERM OF OFFICE OF THE CITY
CLERK TO A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS AND ALSO PROVIDING THE
COMPENSATION TO BE PAID SAID CLERK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 15, is hereby amended to read in words and figures as follows:
"Section 4. The terms of all city officials except the term of the City Clerk not fixed
by the Statutes of the Legislature of this State shall be for two (2) years and until
their successors are elected and qualified. The term of the City Clerk shall be for six
(6) months and until the successor is elected and qualified."
Section 2. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 15 is hereby amended to provide that the salary of the City Clerk shall
be <insert> per month.
