HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-36 Requiring Permit Dump Trash or Rubbish of Any Kind on Private Property and on Public PremisesBILL N0. 36 ORDINANCE N0. 36 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ANY PERSON TO OBTAIN A PERMIT BEFORE DUMPING ANY TRASH OR RUBBISH OF ANY KIND ON ANY PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE AND PROHIBIT THE DUMPING OF ANY TRASH OR RUBBISH ON ANY PUBLIC PREMISES WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. No person shall dump any trash or rubbish of any kind on any private property within the city limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri unless such person shall first have secured a permit from the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside for such dumping. In his application for such permit to the Board of Aldermen, such person shall state the location upon which he intends to dump such trash or rubbish and the type of such trash or rubbish as he will dump. Section 2. It is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person to dump any trash or rubbish of any kind on any of the streets or public ways or premises within the city limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri. Section 3. Violation of the terms of this Ordinance shall be punishable by fine not to exceed $100.00 or imprisonment in the city jail, or county jail if there be no city jail, not to exceed 90 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, and costs.
