AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF VEtiT.ICLES UPON PRIVATE
PROPERTY, WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THEE OWNER, LESSEE, OR PERSON
IN CHARGE, AND PROVIDIDTG A PENALTY THFP.EFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for the drive r, operator
or owner of any motor vehicle to enter onto, stop, stand or park
such vehicle on any posted, private property, without the
express or implied consent of the owner, lessee or person
in charge of the private property.
Section 2. "Posted" shall mean the displaying of a sign
no smal er than six inches in height and eighteen inches
in width exposed to the public view and located at some
prominent location on the private property, bearing the
following information:
"PRIVATE PROPERTY- No parking without ~ nofnthef
owner or lessee, ordinance No. ~6-A `
City of Riverside, Missouri."
Section If at any time a vehicle is parked in violation
o e provisions of this section, the police department,
upon complaint of the owner, lessee or person in charge of
the private property on which the vehicle is parked, may
remove or cause to be removed, the vehicle, keeping it in
its custody or control until redeemed by the owner thereof.
Section Any person found guilty of violating the
provis ons of this section shall be fined not less than ten
dollars nor Wore than one hundred dollars in addition
thereto shall be assessed as costs, all charges incurred
by the police department in causing such vehicle to be
removed and stored until redeemed by owner.
