HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-48 Prohibiting Common Assualt and Providing Penalty for Violation ThereofBILL NO. 48 ORDINANCE NO. 48 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING COMMON ASSAULT AND PROVIDING THE PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It is hereby declared unlawful for any person to commit a common assault as such is defined by the criminal statutes of the State of Missouri. Section 2. Violation of the terms of this ordinance shall be punishable by fine not to exceed One Hundred (100.00) Dollars or imprisonment in the city jail, or county jail if there be no city jail, not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment, and costs.
