HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-49 Prohibiting Carrying of Concealed, Deadly Weapons and Providing Penalty for Violation ThereofBILL NO. 49 ORDINANCE NO. 49 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE CARRYING OF CONCEALED, DEADLY WEAPONS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF RIVERSIDE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It is heroby decreed to be unlawful for any person to carry or have about his person any concealed, deadly weapon within the limits of the City of Riverside unless such person shall be a duly authorized peace officer of the city, county, state or United States. Section 2. Violation of the terms of this ordinance shall be punishable by fine not to exceed One hundred ($100.00) Dollars or imprisonment in the city jail, or county jail if there be no city jail, not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment, and costs.
