HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-50 Prohibiting Persons from Interfering with Police Officers in Discharge of Duties and Providing Penalty for Violation ThereofBILL NO. 50 ORDINANCE NO. 50 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PERSONS FROM INTERFERING WITH ANY POLICE OFFICE IN THE DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTIES AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. It is hereby decreed to be unlawful for any person to interfere in any way or to impede any police officer of the City of Riverside in the discharge of such police officer's duties under the ordinances of the City of Riverside. Section 2. Violation of the terms of this ordinance shall be punishable by fine not to exceed One Hundred (0.00.00) Dollars or imprisonment in the city jail, or county jail if there be no city jail, not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment, and costs.
