AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING FIGHTING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF TEE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any persons to
engage in fighting within the city limits of the City of
Riverside except in self defense or when engaged in any duly
licensed exhibition.
Section 2. Violation of the terms of this ordinance
shall be punishable by fine not exceed One Hundred (3100.00)
Dollars or imprisonment in the city jail, or in the county jail,
if there be no city jail, not to exceed ninety (90) days, or
both such fine and imprisonment, and costs.
