AN ORDINANCE DECLARING IT TO BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO GIVE
FALSE OR MISLEADING INFORMATION TO ANY POLICE OFFER SO AS TO
INTERFERE WITH THE ORDERLY INVESTIGATION BY SUCH POLICE OFFICER
OR ANY 3USPECTED VIOLATION OF THE CITY ORDINANCES AND PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THE TERMS HEREOF.
BE IT 0RD76INED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is hereby declared to be unlawful for
any person to knowingly give to any police officer any false
as misleading information calculated to cause difficulty or
confusion to such officer in his investigation of any suspected
violation of a~+ ordinances of the City of Riverside.
Section 2. Any person violating the terms of this ordinance
shall be subject to a fine of not more than One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) or imprisonment in the City jail for not ttare than
thirty (30) days or both such fine and imprisonment and costs.
