AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTATION
NECESSARY TO JOIN MIRMA HEALTH; APPROVING THE FORM OF CERTAIN
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO THAT END; AND FIXING THE TIME WHEN THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside, Missouri is a municipality existing pursuant to the laws of
the State of Missouri as a city of the fourth classification;
WHEREAS, the City is authorized by §537.620 RSMo . to join with other political
subdivisions and participate in an entity to provide health insurance; and
WHEREAS, MIRMA Health is an entity formed for that purpose; and
WHEREAS, joining MIRMA Health is in the best interest of the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 -MEMBERSHIP AUTHORIZED. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and are
hereby authorized to execute a membership agreement with MIRMA Health, substantially in
the form of the attached Exhibit A, as well as any and all additional documentation
necessary to establish the City of Riverside as a member of the MIRMA Health.
SECTION 2 -RA TES. That the per employee per month rates for the initial period of
membership July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, shall be as follows.

Employee Only - $1,188.00 $1,015.00 $ 886.00
Employee and Spouse - $2,197.00 $1,878.00 $1,639.00
Employee and Child(ren) - $1,959.00 $1,675.00 $1,462.00
Employee and Family - $3,206.00 $2,741.00 $2,392.00
SECTION 3 -PAYMENT FREQUENCY. That above rates shall be payable monthly
depending on the selected plan(s) and the City's actual enrollment.
SECTION 4 -RA TE VARIANCE. That the per employee per month rates for the first full
year of membership, January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027, shall not vary by more
than 15% from the above rates.
SECTION 5 -EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its passage and approval.

BE IT REMEMBERED that the above was read two times by heading only, PASSED AND
APPROVED by a majority of the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside this 19th day of May 2026.
