BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS; Section 1. That it is deemed to the best interests oP the City of Riverside and necessary for the preservation of the public mcr als, safety and general welfare of the citizens of Riverside that the number of establishments holding occupa- tion licenses for the sale -h- ~° a-j~~- of malt liquor con- taining more than !}~ alcohol by volume be limited to not more than the number of such establishments selling such liquor ~y }h~~_..;.„~ as are now operating within the limits of the City of Riverside. Section 2. There shall not be issued in any calendar year more than one occupation license for the sale of malt liquor containing more than 4J of alcohol by volume. Section 3. Each holder of an occupation license for the sale of such malt liquor shall be entitled to a renewal of his license for each ensuing calendar year provided he has continually operated his business and further provided that he makes proper and timely application for the renewal thereof, pays all fees, prescribed by ordinance, and has complied with all of the applicable ordinances of the City of Riverside in the operation of his said business.
