AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 66 OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI BY CHANGING THE DATE OF THE ELECTION
ON THE PROPOSAL TO EXTEND THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE FROM OCTOBER 7, 1952 TO NOVEMBER 25, 1952.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF TFE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 66 of the City of
Riverside, Missouri is hereby amended to provide that
the date of the election at which the proposal to extend
the city limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri shall
be submitted to the legal voters of the City of Riverside,
Missouri for the purpose of obtaining the consent of a
majority of the legal voters voting at such an election
shall be changed from the 7th day of October, 1952 to the
25th day of November, 1952.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and
directed to give notice of said election in three
successive issues of the Platte County Gazette, the
first notice to appear in the October 30th, 1952 issue
of said paper. The said notice shall in substance give
notice as provided in Ordinance No. 66 with the exception
that the date of the election shall be changed as provided herein.
