AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 68 OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, BY CHANGING THE "DATE OF THE ELECTION
ON THE PROPOSAL TO EXTEND THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITYOF
RIVERSIDE FROM NOVEMBER 25, 1952 to APRIL 14, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARb OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 68 of the City of
Riverside, Missouri, is hereby amended to provide that
the date of the election at which the proposal to extend
the city limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri, shall
be submitted to the legal voters of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, for the purpose of obtaining the consent of a
majority of the legal voters voting at such an election
shall be changed from the 25th day of November, 1952 to April 14, 1953.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby ordered and
directed to give notice of said election in three
successive issues of the Platte County Gazette, the
first notice to appear in the March 26, 1952 issue of
said paper. The said notice shall in substance give
notice as provided in Ordinance No. 68 with the exception
that the date of the election shall be changed as provided herein.
