HomeMy WebLinkAbout2026-01-08 Planning & Zoning Commission MinutesMINUTES REGULAR MEETING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI Thursday, January 8, 2026 6:30 p.m. The Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in regular session at Riverside City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Answering roll call were Jennifer Hanlon, Al Bowman, Mike Soler, Matthew Christopher, Benjamin Becker, Ray Uhl, Richard Lanning, Elise Grosdidier and Gale Perkins. Representatives from the applicant in attendance were Andrew Danne, Windfield Development; Lance Scott, CFS Engineering; and Ed Davis, Seed and Harvest. Assistant Fire Chief Keith Payne, City Planner Sarah Wagner and Community Development Admin Assistant Rhonda Smith were present. Members absent were Mike Lombardo and Mayor Kathy Rose. Approval of Minutes of December 12, 2025. Commissioner Lanning moved to approve the minutes of December 12, 2025, seconded by Commissioner Christopher. Motion passed 9-0. Public Hearing – Preliminary/Final Development Plan and Rezoning for the Darby Townhomes Commissioner Soler opened the public hearing at 6:31 pm. City Planner Sarah Wagner noted that Darby Townhomes preliminary and final development plan would be continued to the January 22nd meeting so staff had time to gather additional information. Commissioner Soler closed the public hearing at 6:32 pm. Public Hearing – Preliminary/Final Development Plan for 4306 NW Mattox Road Commissioner Soler opened the public hearing at 6:32 pm. City Planner Sarah Wagner presented the staff report. She noted that the applicant would build a 12,000 square foot warehouse facility with brick construction with access on Mattox and Belgium Boulevard. The truck docks would be screened with landscaping. The warehouse will distribute for Hunt Brother Pizza. Commissioner Soler closed the public hearing 6:40 pm. Commissioner Perkins moved to approve to the Preliminary/Final Development Plan for 4306 NW Mattox and recommend to the Board of Alderman, seconded by Commissioner Bowman. Motion passed 9-0. Adjourn Commissioner Lanning moved to adjourn at 6:45 pm. Commissioner Christopher seconded and the meeting was adjourned 9-0.
