REGULAR MEETING
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
Thursday April 13, 2023
6:30 p.m.
The Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in regular session at
Riverside City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Answering roll call were Frank Biondo, Matt Christopher,
Richard Lanning, Mike Soler and Mike Lombardo. Mike Lang from Goedecke Company and Austin Baier
from CBRE Real Estate. City Planner Sarah Wagner, Fire Marshall Keith Payne and Community
Development Assistant Rhonda Smith were also present. Member absent was Ray Uhl, Al Bowman, Gale
Perkins, Stephen King and Mayor Kathy Rose.
Approval of Minutes of March 9, 2023.
Commissioner Lanning moved to approve the minutes of March 9, 2023,
seconded by Commissioner Biondo. Motion passed 5-0.
Public Hearing — Special Use Permit 4123 & 4125 NW Riverside Street
Commissioner Lombardo opened the public hearing at 6:31 pm.
City Planner Sarah Wagner gave the staff report. She noted that
Goedecke Company is requesting outdoor storage for the property
formerly owned by K&G Striping, which is zoned Industrial. The tenant
has provided a map/layout of the stored materials, volunteered to remove
the barbed wire and provide new landscaped screenings.
Commissioner Lombardo closed the public hearing at 6:40 pm.
Commissioner Lanning moved to recommend approval for Special Use
Permit 4123 & 4125 NW Riverside Street and recommend to the Board
of Alderman; seconded by Commissioner Biondo. Motion passed 5-0.
Final Plat — Replat of Lots 74 & 75 Palisades Second Plat
City Planner Sarah Wagner gave the staff report. She noted that a new
resident in Palisades purchased two lots and would like to combine both
to provide flexibility for side setbacks.
Commissioner Lanning moved to recommend approval for the Final Plat
— Replat of Lots 74 & 75 Palisades Second Plat and recommend to the
Board of Alderman; seconded by Commissioner Biondo. Motion passed 5-0.
Adjourn
Commissioner Lombardo moved to adjourn at 6:49 p.m.
Commissioner Christopher seconded and the meeting was adjourned 5-0.
