A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 2026 DODGE RAM 2500
TRADESMAN CREW CAB FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE APPROVED BUDGET AND COOPERATIVE PURCHASING CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has identified a 2026 Dodge Ram 2500
Tradesman Crew Cab through Airport Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram using a State of Missouri bid; and
WHEREAS, the adopted 2026-2027 fiscal year budget included $70,000.00 for the
purchase price of the 2026 Dodge Ram 2500 Tradesman Crew Cab and associated
equipment; the total cost of the new vehicle is $51,508.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Board of Aldermen hereby approves the purchase of a 2026 Dodge Ram
2500 Tradesman Crew Cab from Airport Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in the amount of
$51,508.00 pursuant to State of Missouri Bid No. TB6073, and that the Mayor, City
Administrator, or their designee is authorized to execute any and all documents
necessary to complete the purchase of the vehicle and to take such further actions as
may be necessary to implement the intent of this Resolution; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, and other appropriate City
officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary
or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute
and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements, and
other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, the 21st day of July 2026.
