A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A POLICE CANINE, RELATED
VEHICLE EQUIPMENT, AND TRAINING EXPENSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the purchase of a dual-purpose police canine trained in patrol techniques
and bomb detection, together with related canine vehicle equipment from 911 Custom
and other necessary expenses, is hereby approved in a total amount not to exceed Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00); and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor is authorized to execute any documents necessary to
complete the purchase, and City staff is authorized to take such further actions as may
be necessary to carry out the intent of this Resolution; and
FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, the 4th day of August 2026 .
