A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside finds itself in possession of certain video system
equipment that is no longer needed for City operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the equipment listed on the attached Surplus List is declared surplus. The
equipment shall be disposed of in a manner determined by the City Administrator, or her
designee , including sale by receipt of sealed bids, public auction, Internet auction,
negotiated sale, or donation to a governmental entity; provided however, that if there is
no reasonable market value (i.e., the property is worth little of significance) then the
furniture and equipment may be recycled or discarded.
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, City Administrator, Fire Chief, and other appropriate
City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed
necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements
and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, the 1st day of September 2026.
