OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
May 11, 1982
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri, on May-11, 1982,
at 7:30 p.m. On a roll call, Aldermen West, Scudder, Rodeberg, Peeler and
Karr were present and said meeting was called to order by Mayor Holmes.
It was decided to dispense with the reading of the minutes of May 4, 1982.
Mr. William E. Womack 10700 Santa Fe~Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66212,
presented to the Board a.Partial Self-Funded Health Care Plan for the employees
of the City. The proposal was prepared by Employee Benefit Administrators, Inc.
(EBA). Mr. Womack proposal was based on duplicating our present set .of health
insurance benefits. Tfie proposal included. annual cost's, monthly contributions,
life insurance and a Plan Administrator service. A discussion was had and it
was decided by the Mayor and Board to study this Partial Self-Funded plan and
to contact other Cities and companies who are presently using this plan.
A letter was read by Mayor Holmes, from Coleman Industrial Construction
5604 Riverpark Drive, Riverside, Missouri in regards to the repair of a section
of road from Mattox to the State Highway public service road. The City Clerk is
to write to Mr, Coleman in regards to the State Highway repairing the public
service road which they maintain.
There being no further business, upon motion made, seconded and passed,
meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
