THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
November 4, 1980
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on November
4, 1980, at 7:30 p.m. On a roll call, ~,1 a Scudder, Rodeberg, Peel-
er, Holmes and Campbell were present a or renner calling said meeting
to order. ~~
The minutes of meeting of October 28, 1980, were read and approved
as corrected.
It was announced that there would be a Platte County Mayor's Meeting
on Thursday, November 6, 1980, at 7:30 p.m. at Lake Waukomis Club House.
A discussion was had regarding the City's audit. It was brought
out that each member of the Board would receive a list of the fixed
assets and be brought up to date whenever a new item is received or
one is disposed of.
Scudder moved that the City accept the report of the Audit from
Clifton, Gunderson & Co. for the Period June 30, 1979 and 1980. seconded
by Rodeberg, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Scudder,
Rodeberg, Peeler, Holmes and Campbell voted aye; West absent.
A discussion was had concerning the zoning of "Brenner Ridge Property".
The recommendation of the Planning Commission was also discussed.
Rodeberg moved that the City adopt the following Resolution from
the Planning Commission:
A Resolution recommending the following changes to the Zoning Order
of the City of Riverside, Missouri.
Section 1. It is hereby recommended that the following changes
be made to District 4 - Commercial and District 5 - Industrial in
the Table of General Use Regulations and Table of General Bu~Elk
Regulations:
"6. Automotive, Body, Mechanical and Machinery repair shops, and
Automobile and Trailer Sales Stores and Lots" be deleted from uses
permitted by right and added to uses by special permit.
"3. Auto Salvage Junk Yards and Auto Wrecking Yards:" be deleted
from District 4 - Commercial and add it to District 5 - Industrial
as a use by special Permit.
seconded by Scudder, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Scudder, Rodeberg, Peeler, Holmes and Campbell voted aye; West absent.
Peeler recommended that the Road Committee and any other members
of the Board would look over Riverside Street to see if there should
be any corrections made to the overlay and report back to the Board
next week.
The matter of people with telephones dialing 911 and automatically
be connected to the police department was discussed.

There being no further business,. upon motion made, seconded and
passed, meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
