December 21, 1976 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on December 21, 1976, at 7:30 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Rodeberg, Brenner, Best, Scudder, West and Swetnam were present, Mayor Young calling said meeting to order. The minutes of December 7, 1976 were read and approved as corrected. The minutes of December 13, 1976 were read and approved. William Smit ^ res te~ d building application for an addition to the present building, The planning commission had approved the plans subject to certain requirements which were completed. The Board approved the plans, and application. Fred Herzog spoke to the Board regarding the sewer constructirn in District #l~,and was ready to start the work in the morning subject to the approval of the Board. It appeared that all therequirements were fulfilled and the Board, Don Jack and Don Witt approved their receiving a permit to start construction in the morning, 12-22-76. Mayor Young suggested! hat the City Keep the file concerning Sewer District #ljj-to be used if future sewer districts to be constructed;' that each page be numbered for record purposes. Mr. Drexel Noble advised the Mayor and Board that if the weather permitted, he would have at least six more weeks of work to complete the addition to the City Hall Building. The Board thought that more of the construction should have been completed by now. This matter was discussed. Brenner is to check with the health officer 'regarding the bill for mosquito spraying. Young suggested that Gary Hohimer work with the Clerk in a breakdown of the Fire Department expenses and purchases as well as the police department's, such as material uniforms, etc:.,~.~i r~u,~, ~, BreMmer moved that bill No. 76-28 being bill for the appropria- tion of money out of the general fund of the City of Riverside, Missouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein be placed on its first reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as fo llows: Rodeber~j, Brenner, Best, Scudder, West and Swetnam voted. aye; said bill was accordingly read. Swetnam moved that Bill No. 76-28 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Rodeberg, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Rodeberg, Brenner, Best, Scudder, West and Swetnam voted Reg. Meeting December 21, 1976 Page 2. aye; said bill was accordingly read. West moped that Bill No. 76-28 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. 76-28, seconded by Brenner, the roll was called and votes were as follows: $ode~berg, Brenner, Best, Scudder, West and Swetnam voted aye; said bill was accordingly read; attached hereto and made a part hereof, approved by Mayor Young and became ordinance No. 76-28. Gary Hohimer•is~to see if something could be done regarding a breakdownno~`t~e equipment into more categories ~"• The Mayor and Board are to read the letter presented from Bill Bright and are to study this and also information w}aich will be received from Missouri Municipal League for the next meeting. There being mo further business, upon motion made by West, seconded by Rodeberg that the meeting adjourn, votes were as follows: Rodeberg, Brenner, Best, Scudder, Swetnam and West voted aye; meeting adjourned.
