November 5, 1974 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the City Hall on November 5, 1974, at 8:00 p.m. Upon a roll call, aldermen Bailey, Grogan, Swetnam, Vulgamott and West were present, Fries absent; and Mayor Czamanske calling said meeting to order. read. The Minutes of September 10,1974, were read and approved as The minutes of October 15, 1974, were approved as read and added to. The minutes of October 29, 1974, were approved as read and added to. Flora Crawford, 4424 Northwest Gateway, Box 12033, Parkville, Missouri, presented business license application for Samuels Elete Flea. She request permission to move to Trails End Motel and advises that she will not have any bad looking furniture or merchandise in the outside area. The matter of sewers was discussed. Vulgamott moved that the business license be approved on the basis that Flora Crawford clean up the place, that she not use the ~~~~ s.ew~e~rs on the premises, that she be allowed one free standing sign, seconded by West, the roll was called and all present voted in favor, Fries, Absent. Mayor Czamanske requested that a letter be written to the owner;~of Trails End Motel (Mrs. Herman) regarding the necessity of her place being put on public sewers in accordance with the City's agreement with Kansas City, Missouri and that she be given until June 1, 1975, to have this matter taken care of. Ronald E. Gilbert, RR#2, Box 442, Liberty, Missouri 64068, representing Boy Scott Troop 214, requested occupation license to sell Christmas Trees at Rex-X Plaza. With the proper deposit and license fee paid, the application was approved. Mr. Filger was present and advised that the sewer would be put in and completed shortly. Bailey inquired whether the fence on I-635 was on the street right of way, and Mr. Jack is to find out. There being no further business, meeting adjourned. 8:45 p.m.
