HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-08-20MittuLes of Regular Meeting Aoard of Aldermen City of Riverside Missouri August 20, 1974 A regular meeting of the .Hoard of Aldermen of the City of Riverside Missouri, was held in CheCity Hall in Riverside, Missouri, 1-ugust 20, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Bailey, Fries, Gsogan, Bwetnam Vulgamott were present, West absent and Mayor Csamanske calling said meeting to order. The minutes of August 6, 1974, were approved as read, written and corrected. Mr. Erwin W. Gard, 1308 W. 21st Street, Independence, Missousi, was prsent to represent Mr. Robert L. Buford for license to have his business at 4712 Northwest Gateway (prior Terry's Beauty School), the Board approved the application subject to the payment of the fee o! $30.00 for 1/2 year, full year fee being 560.00. Don Jack brought up the matter of the printing of th• Sub-division regulations. He advised the Board that at the last Planning Commission meeting this was discussed and the Commission suggested that the authorization of the Board be obtained for the printing of 100 copies of the RegThetBoard for not more than 5200.00 and that they .ell for $5.00 per copy. had not objection to the printing of the Sub-division Regulations. r Minutes of Reg. Meeting Page 2, Auq. 20, 1974 Kenneth Kenyon requested permission of the Board to •ntss into an agreement with Northwoore and Houston Lake for catching their stray dogs and keeping thew in the <'ity of Riverside's kennels and perhaps charge Northwoore and Houston rake 52.50 per day. This wetter was discussed and the Board was not in favor of this. Swetwan moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 74-16 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Fries, the roll was called and votes ware as follows: Bailey, Fries, Brogan, Swetnam and Vulgamott voted ayes Mast Absents said bill was accordingly read. Fries moved that rules be suspended as-d Bill No. 74-26 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ordinanae No. 74-26, seconded by Grogan, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Bailey, Fries, Grogan, Swetnam and Vulgamott voted aye- Mest absents said bill was accordingly read, attached hereto and made a part hereof approved by Mayor Czamanske and became Ord. Bright was read and the suggestions decided not to act on the suggestions The Board and Attorney approved the Mayor and Treasurer to sign the card for the Riverside Police Fund account. The Clay-Platte ambulance asked the City to enter into an agreement with them to pay for all ambulance service from the City if the individuals do not pay for this service. The Board suggested that this mutter be continued and Clay-Platte be advised that we are considering this matter. Minutes of Reg.
