April 23, 1974 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen Riverside, Missouri was held in the City Hall i on April 23, 1974, at 7:30 p.m. and upon a roll Fries, Grogan, Swetnam, Vulgamott and West were present after the reading of the minutes. Said order by Mayor Czamanske. of the City of n Riverside, Missouri, call, aldermen present, Bailey was meeting was called tc The minutes of April 4, 1974, were read, approved as read, written and Corrected. Ben Park of Route #24, Kansas City, Missouri, presented appjication for business license - House of Curl Beauty Shop. West moved that. said application be approved subject to it being in the proper zort'~, seconded by Friers, the roll was called and votes were as follows: ~~filey, Fries, Grogan, Swetnam and West voted aye; Vulgamott nay, said motion carried. - fee being $45.00 for remainder of year. Joe Battaglia, 3924 Scarrett, Kansas City, Missouri, presented business license application for Pinball Paradize, at 2902 N.W. Vivian Road (Dr. Jones Building) Riverside, Missouri, Mr. Battaglia ,advised the Boa~c~~~hat he would be opened the following hours: During Summer„~''~l`0:00 a.m. to10:00 p.m.; Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sundays 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. During ti e School is in session the .hours will be -3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m !'~$a~aglia was advised thatvG he should get pool tables in the building with this operation, it would be under another type of operation and he would have to reapply for a license for the pool table, and he understood this. Fries moved that the app ication for Pinball Paradize be approved subject to his adhering to the above hours, seconded by Bailey, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Bailey, Fries, Grogan and Vulgamott voted aye; Swetnam and West voted nay, motion carried, fee $45.00 for 3/4 year,J-~ ~ 1. ~...K ide. ~ ~ L r ~ s...~t - "~_~ Mr. N. L. LeBlond, 9819 Holly, Kansas City, Missouri, of Consolidated Fuel Company, was present with regard to license for his place of business and advised that he had never obtained an occupation license. He advised he has seven transport trucks and that he does store diesel fuel in the underground tanks which are at the area. Vulgamott moved that the license application of Consolidated Fuel Company be agroved subject to the payment of 60.00 plus penalty, seconded by West, the roll was called and all voted in favor - motion carried.
