A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF THE
YMCA/RIVERSIDE MANAGEMENT AND SERVICES AGREEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the City elects to terminate the YMCA/Riverside Management and Services
Agreement with the Young Men's Christian Association of Greater Kansas City at the end
of December 31, 2026, pursuant to Article VII of the Agreement, so that it will not
automatically renew on January 1, 2027; and
FURTHER THAT the City Administrator is directed and authorized to give the
YMCA written notice of termination on or before November 1, 2026, in the manner
required by Article X of the Agreement; and
FURTHER THAT the City Administrator and other appropriate City officials are
authorized to take such actions as may be necessary to carry out this Resolution and
conclude the City's performance under the Agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, the 6th day of October 2026.
