A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on February 15, 1972, at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Bailey, Fries, Swetna~.n and Vulgamott were present, Layton and Shelton absent; and Swetnam acting as Mayor and calling said meting to order. Minutes of regular meeting of February 1,1972 were read and accepted as read. Attorney D. Witt stated he had an ordinance and Petition which were to be placed on the file and to be submitted at a later date, this was with regard to a vacation of u~lity easement located in Tract D., Cliff Manor Subdivision. A number of people from the businesses of Red X. were present for their application for business license. All the applications were approved. It was decided to set up the hearing on the Planning Commission recommendation for the rezoning of the Green's Trailer Park for the first regular meeting in March, 1972, Mr. Panus spoke with regard to his client Mr. Loftus, regarding several vehicles which had been torn apart and on his place of business on Vivian Road, add after a discussion about the matter, it was the councils desire that he try to cldan up the place and if it were the other peoples property on the place of business, that Mr. Loftus should have them remove same. With regard to the liquor license at Red X, which was transfered to another party, upon motion by ~at~c Vulgamott and seconded by Bailey that same be approved, the roll was called and all present voted in favor, Layton and Shelton absent. Again the matter of the sewer project for Greenls Trailer Park was brought up and and Mrs.Green wanted permission to bring the sewer dine north, after a discussion of same, it was the councilts opinion that they would go along with anyway the sewer could be placed, however, they preferred that it go into the one which would be crossing the highway and in to the Renner~s estate sewer project. Attorney v. Witt stated he inquired with regard to the people in Riverside, using the Riverside, Missouri as address on their mail and he was advised that Riverside's post office was a sub station and that Parkville ~s post office was a primary post office. Before Riverside, Missouri could ~~BC~~~x~x m~agx~$ ~~~_x use its Riverside, Address, it would also have to be a primary post office. However, he was also advised that if the correct zip code was used, it would be in order to use Riverside, Missouri and the mail would be delivered accordingly.
