Minutes of November 16, 1>'~71 were read and approved after correcting that portion referring to Mr. Bradents liquor license not being voted on at that mmeetin„ as all aldermen were not present and preferred to wait anAther two weeks or until the next regular meetin;; when all aldermen would be present. The Collectors report for month of Nove~.nber was presented to the Coancil. The Fun House Pizza people were present and requested license to se31 beer only on Sunday, the coulcil stated they didn~t know whether a license of this eel '.rind ~euld be approved and this matter would have to be studied further. The people wanting to open a Lock Smith Shop in the place where the florist was on Hi;;h Drive, vra~ present~an~ application a,~ppL`ro~ed . Layton moved that Mr. Braden~s liquor license (Package liquor only) be transferred from old address to 2711 W. Vivian Road, Bailey seconded the notion, the roll was called and Bailey, Fries, ;~yton Shelton, Swetnan ended aye; Vulgar:~ott nay. The matter of the Ordinance for selling Shristmas trees was brnght up and upon motion by Vul?;amott that the license be $25.00 for non profit or:anizations and $105,00 for others and that the bond for selling Christmas trees be 100.00 and same be returned After the place where the selling; is cleaned up, seconded by Layton, the roll was called and all present voted in favor, said Bill No. 167-A -2 was accordingly read. Vul~amott noved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 16'(-A-2 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Layton, the roll was called and all voted in favor, said bill was accordingly read. Vulg~mott wooed that rules be suspended and Bill No. 16'7-A-2 be placed on its third reading and if ame be passed it become Ord. No. 167-A-2, seconded by Layton, the roll was called and all voted in favor, said Bill was accordin~l read, approved by Mayor Filer and beta e Ord. No, 167-A-2. Mr. Jack reported on the sewer situation in Green Trailer Park and stated the situation was not changed, however there was going to be a meeting of all concerned in his office on the 21st day of December, 171, and he Mated that either the matter would be work out or other action was doing co have to be taken. Mr. Jack reported that he had not heard anyth~g iron ffihe Hon apartment project. Henwas suppose to get the legal descriptions from all parties joining in the sewer district and to date did not receive them. He wanted clarification as tb the streets not dedic~ed and was advised that he was to inspect the streets not dedicated to see that they were put in accordin- to specifications. Mr. Jack spoke with regard to High Drive and stated it was approximately 1200 feet fro r, the denter of the bridges to the widened portion of High Drive and he would like the go ahead to work: on this project to see just what i~ would take to improve this street. Vulgamott ;roved that Don Jack be given permission to make prelimiary report on High Drive and also sketch plans and cost estimate on 36~ street, then possibly from there it could be worked out whether the street could be made a different width and the cost of same, seconded by Swetna~~, the roll was called and all voted in favor, Ba~~~x~ass~atxx except Bliley, who passed. 9ailey moved that Gary Burns, Kent Gilbert and Gary Hohimer be given 5.5~ increase; that Kimball Wilcox be ~iven a 20.00 raise and Mike Irvin a $15.00 increase, these are all per month and to becm~e effective as of December 1, 1,71, seconded by Layton, the roll was caned and Bailey, Layton,Fries,Shelton and Swetnam voted aye; Vulgamott Nay, said bill was acoordingly read. Bailey :roved that rules be suspended and said bill be placed on its second readinb, seconded by Layton, the roll was called and Bailey,Layton,Fries, Shelton and Swetnam voted aye; Vulgamott voted nay, ~$ said bill w<s accordingly read. Bailey moved that rules be suspended and that said bill be placed on its third readin and if same be passed it become Ordinance , seconded by Laytnn, the roll was called and votes were as follows:Bailey, Fries, Layton, Swetnam and Shelton voted aye; Vulgamott nay, said bill was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and be came Ordinance. Layton advised that he would volunteer to see Mr. Agnew,2advisirg him that the City would take some action if his glace was not brought to City Ordinances and his buildin~_; application. Layton moved that Bill amending ordinance on the duties of the City Attorney be placed on its first reading, seconde d by Shelton, the roll was Balled and all voted in favor, said Bill was accordingly read. Layton mooed that rules be suspended and said bill be placed on its second reading, seconded by Shelton, the roll was called and all voted in favor, said bill was accordingly read. Layton moved that ruled be suspended and said bill be placed on its third Page $3, Reg. Meeting, December 'T, 1>~'71 reading and upon passage of same become Ordinance, seconded by Shelton, the roll was called and all voted in favor, said bill was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Fil;~er and became Ordinance (2.2 sec. 9) The matter of directing the City Attorney to institute whatever legal action necessary against Burlin;,gton-Nrthern Rbtx, Inc. regarding barriers obstruction Tillison Road was placed on its second reading after suspenden; rules by Layton and seconded by Shelton, the roll was called and all voted n favor, said Bill was accordingly read. Layton moved that rules be suspended and Bill be placed on its third reading and if same be passed it become Ord. No. , seconded by Shelton, the roll was called add all voted in favor, seidT.~ilTwas accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Dd~ax Ord. No. Mr. Filger stated that The planning Commission was as follows: John West, Chairman, Bob Gieseke, Secretary, John Blogin, Hohimer, Owens (Paul) McKeon, Iverson Vulgamott (member from Council) Czamanski and Paulhe. The adjustment Board were Blogin, Phillip Brenner, Ramsey, Rodeberg. Vulgamott moved that Bill D-71-21 bein.~ bill providing for the payment of certain bills as listed therein be placed on its first readin;__;, seconded by Fries, thecb~~3aascsecsonc the roll was called and Bailey, Fries, Swetnam and Vulgamott voted aye; Layton ahd Shelton absent, said bill was accordingly read. Vulgamott moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D -71-21 be placed on its second reading, seconded by Fries, the roll was called and votes sere as follows, Bailey, Fries, Swetna!~ and Vulgamott u¢~x~ voted aye; Layton and Shelton absent, said bill was accordingly read. Vulgamott moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-71-21 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No. D-71-21 seconded by Fries, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Bailey, Swetnarr~, Fries and Vulgamott ~x voted aye; Layton and Shelton absent, said bill was accordingly read approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord.
