A re_ular neetin of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the city Hall in Riverside, on Nove,r:ber 17, 1y70,
at x:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Bailey, Brenner
Swetnam and Vulgamott were present, Layton, and Shelton absent, and
Mayor Filer calling said meeting to order.
The re adino of the minutes of the meeting of November 3, 1y70,
were dispensed with.
Engineer Myers talked with re and to the reconsinance survey
and the application to co:,plete f r federal funds. He also spoke
with e'gard to the Greens Tr~.ler Park usin the sewers in the
bottoms. He advised that District No. 16 would be competed next
week. Mr. Myers also advised that the boundary of District No. 11,
will have to be changed and then wanted to get contract from the
people financing the sewer in order to turn it over to the City.
Mr. Agnew was again called in for his plywood building and he advised
that he was not changing the building plans, stated that all he
had to do was finish the porches and landscape the ground.
Swetnam moved that Hohimer enter into an areemenl~ with Maple Woods
Community College whereby people could be employed for an acr!ount
stated in the contract , seconded by Vulgamott, the roll was called
and all present voted aye; Layton and Shelton absent.
Bailey moved that Bill No. 87-3-A2 be placed on its first reading,
same being an ordinance limiting the number of iiquor licenses
and repeali~; all prttions of prior ordinances in conflict therewith,
seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and Bailey,Brenner,Swetnam
and Vulgamott voted aye; Layton and Shelton absent, said bill was
accordingly read.
Bailey moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 8'7-3-A-~
be placed ^n its second reading,, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: Bailey,Brenner,Swetnam,Vul~amott voted aye;
~ia~~~Layton, Shelton absent, Bill No. 87-3-A2 was accordin_ly read.
q Bailey moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. ~~;-3-A2 be placed
on its third reading and upon pasaagecf same become Ord. No. 87-3-A2,
seconded oy Swetnam, the roll wa.s called and votes were as follows:
Bailey,Brenner,Swetnarn and Vulgamott voted aye; Layton and Shelton absent;
Bill No. 87-3-a2 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Fiber and
became Ord. No. 87-3-A2.
Vulga~:nott ,:roved that Bill No. D-70-21 be(ng bill providing for the
appropriation of? money out of the eneral fund of the City of Riverside,
for the payment of certain indebtedness a.s listed therein be placed on
its first reading, seconded by Bailey, the roll wa$ called and votes were
as follows: Bailey,Brenner,Stvetnam, Vulr~amott voted aye; Layton, Shelton
absent; Bill No. D-70-21 was accordingly read.
Vulgamott moved that rube be suspended and Bill No. D-70-21 be
placed on its second readin;;;, seconded by Bailey, the roll was called and
votes were as follows: Bailey, Brenner, Swetnar:r, Vulgamott voted aye;
Shelton and Layton absent; Bill No. D-70-21 was accordin.;ly read.
Vul;~anott moved that rule be suspended and Bill No. D-70-21 be placed
on its third reading and upon passa e of same become Ord. No. D-`j0-21,
seconded by Bailey, the rollves called and votes were as follows:

Bailey, Brenner, Sl~~~~~ Swetnam and Vulgamott voted aye; Bill No. D-70-21
was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. D-70-21.
There beans; no further business, upoa motion by Swetnam and seconded by
Brenner that reeeting adjourn, meeting ad„ourned.
