A re_,ular nneetin~ of lthe Board of Alderven of City of Riverside,
Misso~.~ri was held in the city hall in riverside on November 3, 1;70,
at `!:00 p.rr•, and r:~pon a roll call., aldermen Layton, Shelton, Swetnam
and Vul~amott present, Brenner absent for roll call only and Dda~ Bally
absent; Mayor ~'il~er calling; said meeting to order.

accepted as read.

Also the fact that stop sign was put up and someone had taken it
down and again put up. It appeared, from the council.-s standpoint
tP,a.t this was a p:s°oblem that had tv be worked out and that a closer
watch be rade with re,rr.ard tv speeding automobiles.
Alvin Howerton advised that he is now the ranaE;in officer of the
Quiz=Trip Corporation, formerly under the manaerr:ei~~ ~f Low Pa.r-ur
a.rd r~c;uested his liquor license ~o sA~ate.
Swetna~: roved that we looE; into the 'ratter of having license
for places Navin, li~.~e entertainment, seconded by Shelton, the roll
was called and all present •~oted aye; Bailey, absent.
Shelton moved that the City authorize the Police Department to
purchase a Radar equipment For not exceeding X1800.00, seconded by
Swetnarc, the roll was called and all present voted in favor, Bailey
absent.
Bill No. D-70-20 bean; bill prvvidinr for the appropria.'cion of r.oney
out of the eneral f _~nd of the City for the pa~~ °~ent of certain indebtedness
as listed therein beplaced on its first readin., after a .;otion made by
Swetna^~: and seconded by Bail~~, the roll was called and votes were as
follows : F;ailey-absent; Brenner, Layton,Shelton,Swetna n, V~l~atarott noted
aye; Fill No. D-70-20 waa accordin_;ly read.
Layton moved that rules be suspendsd II•~~ rill I~tc. L'~-7;)-20 be
pl;~ced vn its second reading', seconded by Vul~_arnotf, the roll was called
and votes were as follows: Bailey-absent;Erenner,Laytcn, Shelton,
Swet;:a':,~Tta~,aaott voted aye; Bill Nv. D-','0-20 was accordingly mead.
Layton roved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-70-20 be placed
on its third readin;- and upon passa~~e of $.ne becone ordinance No. D-70-2C
seconded by Vul~a~rott, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Bailey-absent; 3renner, La~rton,Shelton,Swetna~o, and Vula~:~ott voted aye;
Bill No. D -70-2C was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Fil;~er and
becar!:e Ordinance No. D-70-20;
