A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of city of Riverside,
Missouri wgas held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri, on
Aug.._st 4, 1970, and upon a roll call, aldermen Bailey, Layton, Brenner
Shelton 8wetnam, and Vulgamott were present, Mayor Fi~~;er callin;
said meetin to order.
Minutes of July 21,19'70, were approved as corrected.

Messrs. Renner and Panus spoke with regard to sewer district principally
No. 16 and part of No. 10, that Warren Renner would pay the cost of
the entire sewer and that the City would issue the tax bills and
assess the proper owners of property, then Brenner would assume the
tax bills. Ater a discussion, the council deci3ed that the matter would
ha~,~e to be discussed with the City Attorney and Mr. Myers re_ardin;;
the sewer districts. Swetnarn rno~ed t at Myers contact the City
attorney and draw up ordinance in order to revise sewer Districts 16 and
10, seconded by Vulgamott, the roll was called and all ~ul~,amott, Bailey,
Layton, Shelton, Swetna<<~ a~z~3 voted aye, Brenner abstained.

Vulgamott moved that the City accept the building permit/for ~,uick ~.bu.ck
Trip buildin;, seconded by Layton, the roll was called and All voted
in favor.

car ~ d could secure federal funds for this, also needed newx~~a~x base
station and antenna, and the most the City would ha~•~e to pay is $CO.GO,

Enforcement Ass~tance Council, seconded by Vulgamott, the roll was
called and all voted in fay-nor, with Swetnarn acting as mayor this
portion of oieeting, Mayor Filer bein_; excused.
Shelton moved that the City Marshall approve all expenditures of the
Police Department in excess of $25.00, with the exception of repair to
vehicle, in emergency and also the raido equipment in case of emergency,
seconded by VuLamott, the roll was called and all coted in favor,
Swetnarn astin;~; as Mayor.
A discussion was had with regard to repair roads and streets,
and it was decided to et other pricesl~'or repairs of High Drive and
then it would be decided what woad be done, with re,ard to roads in
Riverside.
Brenner moved that r_,les be suspended and Bill No. D-7U-14 being bill
~rl~~idin ~ i2or the appropriation of money out oi' tine general fund of the
y of ~iverside for the payment of certain ind~lbiaedness as listed ktherein
e placed on its first readin„ seconded by Layton, the roll was called and

its second reading, seconded by Layotn the roll was called and votes
were as follows: Bailey,Brenner,Laytngn, Shelton, VulJaott voted aye;
Bill No. D-7c-14 was accordingly read.
Brenner mo~.;ed that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-~0-14 be placed
on its third re adin; and upon passa;e of same beco,~e Ord. No. D0~0-14, searonded,
by Layton, t~~ roll was called and votes were as follows: Bailey, Brenner
Layton, Shelton, Vul~a!uott voted aye, Bill No. D-~0-14 was accordingly,
approved by Acting Mayor Swetnam and beta e Ordinance No. D-70-1~1,
