Riverside, Missouri, and upcn a roll call, aldermen Bailey, Shelton,
Swetna.°~, and Vul~;amot present, Brenner and Layton absent; Mayor Filger
callin" said meeting to order.
Minutes of June 16, 1';?70,were read and accepted and Collector's
report for month of June, 1J70 was read and accepted.
Dan Price inquired with re_.ard to zoning maps for the City so they
may work out area zoning for the eight county re.;ion, he was _;iven a
copy of all ordinances pertaining to the zcnin:=; and also the large
map which was partially marked w&h the zoning, with the understanding
he would return it very shortly.
Jerry Connley of 5006 Strasberry Avernze, Riverside, inquired with
re;_:ard to two places cleaning up their property arov.nd him, and
stated the people at Jefferson City said it is a Health's depxrmtnes
duty and the Health Department says it is Riverside, and wants to know
how he can ~o about trying to clean up the property. The matter was
discussed and it was decided to write the two parties involved, Orhenberg
and Munster asking if they would clean up their places as they could
be in violation of some of the ordinances, upon motion made by Swetnam,
seconded 'oy Via gamott, the roll was called and motion carried.
The matter was main brought up with re~~;ard to havin;_, no parking
on the area of Riverside Street d~mpl®tel~:ina fH~e;east side of
West Riverside iStreet, ar d upon :notion by ~.l~ar~r~tt, seconded by
Shelton, the roll was called and unanino~,sly passed.
Mr. Uentry's buiidin;; application fog resident was accepted.
Sheton moved that they be given authority to purchase play ground
equipment, maximum of $3,000.00, Bailey seccndedotes werecas follows:

Vulgamott moved that Bill No. D-70-"12 bein_, bill prcvidin~ for the
appropriation of money out of the :eneral fund of the City of Riverside,
Missouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein
be placed on its first readin seconded by Swetnam, the rol]. was called
end votes were as follows: Bailey-aye; Brenner-absent; Shelton-aye;
ayton-absent; Swetnam-aye; Vulgamott-aye; Bill No. D-~'-A-12 was acecrdin:;ly

Vulgamott moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-70-12 be gtaced
on its second reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes
were as follows: Bailey-aye;Brenner-absent;Laytonzabsetn; Shelton-aye;
Swetnam-aye; Vulga~ott-aye; Bill No. D-r~0-12 was accordingly read.
Vulga~.:~ott moved that rules besuspended and Bill No. D-~j0-12 be placed
on its third reading and upon passa=;e of Mme become Ordinance No. D-7C-12,
seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Bailey-aye; Brenner-absent;Layton-a~iegnt; Shelton-aye; Swetnam-aye;
Vulgamott-aye; Bill No. D-70-12 was accordingly read, approved by Mayor
Filter and became Ord. No. D-7C-12.
There bein* no further business, ~~pon motion made by Bailey, duly
seconded by Vulgamott, and unanimously passed that the meeting adjourn,
said ueeting ad jouned. ,
