A regular meeting of the board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Pissouri was held in the Cit-< Sall in Riverside, Missouri, on December,
16, 1969, at 8100 p.m. and upon a r oll call, aldermen, Bailey, Swetnam,
Brenner and Shelton, presnt, Layton and Young; absent, and Ivia;~or 1'~ilger
calling said meeting to order.
rlinutes of regular meeting of November 18, 1969, were read and
accepted; T~iinutes of r egular meeting of December 2, 1969, were read
end accepted.
Collector's retort for the month of November, 16>, was read
and accepted.
Bids on construction o f sewers as advertised were opened as follows:

Jpon motion by Swetnam that we accept the bid of Irl~odside Constructio
Company sub ject to Pr. T~Tysrs checking the fi ures and if the :highway
department accepted the cast 3.ron pipe, then the bid would be less and
that Bill No. 206-10 being bill authorizing the Tayor to enter into
an agreement with vJoodside ;construction Company, Ir,c. for the construction
of sewers as bid upon, seconded by Brenner, the roll was called and
Bailey,. Swetnam, Brenner and Shelton voted aye; L^yton and Young
absent; i3'll ~'o. 206-10 was accordingly read.
Swetnam moved that rules be suspended and Bi1L?o. 26-10 be placed on
its second reading., secon ed by Brenner, the roll wasc alled and votes
were as follows: Bailey, Br nner, Swetnam and Shelton voted aye;
Le~rton and Yo!zn~; absent, Bill No. 206-10 was accordingly read.
Swetnam moved that rules be s uspended and Bill P'o. 206-10 be pl^ced on
its third readin~~ and upon passage of same~~come Ord. No. 206-10, seconded
by Brenner, the roll way ca lled and votes were a s follows: Bailey,
Brenre.r Shelton and Swetnam moved aye; Layton and Young absent; and
Bill Fo. 206-10 was accord ngly dead, approved by T~iayor L'ilger and b ecame
Ordinance .o. 2:6-10.

however she renuested that she would rxt open for business until a
1=ten date and she woui_d then pay for the occupation license.
T~ir. Dyers reported on the progress of the Drive-In theatre, and
they would rip-rap the embankment =Tong ''~Oth street.
Shelton mov•_;d that 50th street be graveled and =traded the portion
from T3ighti•;ay 71 and westwa rd, seconded by Swetnam, tha roll was c alled
and Brenner, Bailey, Shelton and Swetnam voved aye; La~Tton and Young
absent;
Shelton moved that we~ccept Booth Aspa~~lt Paving Company's
bid on the work inback of City •`all for the sum of ~.r55.55, seconded
by Bailey, the roll was called and votes were as f ollows:
