P~inutes of r:gular meeting of October 21, 1~;6~, were read and accepted as read, Collector's re.~ort for month of October was read and accepted. Mr. Rapp of the .Parkville iioli3nteer Fire Department was present and asked the City about getting more volunteer firemen from this area, and the other matter we_s whether Riverside, actually wanted the lire truck in the City Hall, as seemed after talt;ing to some people that they were unhappy, Riverside council advised theyhad not heard of anyone bein-; unhappy and the; still wanted ther'ire Truck in the City of Riverside. Myers spoke to the Co ncil that he has prepared a contract with Mr, Vaughn of the `r~~.in Drive-In Theatre and stated this was also to be hone with the a:p~~roval of the City. A group of people were nres~~nt wanted to know what was ~~~ing to be done aoout Till son Lane as it was not passable due the constructi-n of the Highway work, and it w as agreed that Mr. M~~rs and the counc_l would talky to the Highway llepar tment requesting tr,:s be worked out.
