A regular meet ng of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside,
Missouri ~r a:.: held in the City ~`Talli.n Riverside, I~isso~~ri on April 15,
1969,at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, Aldermen Brenner, Shelton,
Swetnam and Young were pres:,nt, Bailey, and Layton absent and P'iayor
Filger c allir.~ said meeting to order.
Tinutes of meeting of April 1, 1~6~, were r•=ad and accepted as
read.
??auLd Brenner presented application for !}-unit building, which was
a~oproved.
P'r. Filger retorted on going to Jefferson City, with regard to the
S'rate Highway keeping up the roads through Riverside, which are the
States, and stated he thought t_,eyd id same good as they were row going
to t ake care of more t ' an they originallysaid they would. The people
who weht~to Jefferson City, asidefrom P'_r. Piyers and Pin. Dorsey w ere
14`r. and P~'rs. Filger, John Llogin, Wayne Harris, N:r. Edmond, Pi r. Ga~c pbell,
PIr. and 'rs. John Reinke, I`r. ~~est, P1r. iierzog, Pr. Johnny Pete i•ilger
and E. 11i. Young. It w as decided to have the Countiil~'s hearing on the
rezonin~° of P:r. Curtis Brenner property at the next meeting at 7:?0 p.m•.
Mr. Pales owner of the Fondoo stated he w anted to chr ne rns 1_icer.sF

the State recuired him torefi e, he therefore presented the license
applic^tien fora pproval by the council.
Pers. D. L. Stretram inquired as to what~;s going tob e done bbout the
do`s runrin~* loose in Ri-~erside, P`o. After a lengthy, discussion, it
was decided that the Police Department would againserd out a letter
notifying the people that their dogs would be picked up if theywere
not on lease or wih~ its owner, and see if t his would help the situation.
The co.ancil approved the Kirin- of reorge Edward Barnes andi-imball
t~•Iilcox as reserve officers.
Swetnam moved that Bill P•:'o. D-69-8 being billproviding for the
appropriation of ~poney out of the general f and of the City of Riverside,
Missouri f or the patnnen.t of certain indebtedness as listed there i n
be placed on its first reading, seconded by Brenner, the roll was called
and votes w re as follows: Easley-absent; Brenner-aye; Lai*toneak;eent;
Shelton.-ave; S~tram-aye; Young-ave; Bi11T~~o. D-69-8 was accordingly read.
Shelton rnoved that rules b e suspended and Billlto. ll-69-8 be placed on
its second readLng, seconded by iailey, the roll was called and votes ~'e
