A rec;.lar meeting of the Boa rd of Aldermen of City of
Riverside, Missouri wa~.: held in the City ::all in Rive=side, on
December 17, 1968, at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen
Bailey, Brenner, Layton, Shelton, Swetnam and Young were present,
Ma,yof Filger calling s~^id meeting to order.
Minutesof Meeting of December 3, 1968, ire read and
accepted as read.

inquired with re<-a d to his permit to serve liquor and ~s advised
the matter of an,y new license was being studied. T~:r. Kalivas
stated that he wanted his recuest to be placed first on the list
should there to any license issued. P:r. Kalivas stated that he was
~~et;tinc; water from Kansas City, T~issouri., He stated he was purchasing
the water for his apartment projects rom K. C., P~o. ar.d was in Riverside.
Brenner moved that the proposed plan for Indian Hi11s North First
Annex for Sewer plans be placed on its first reading, seconded by
Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Bailey-e,ye;
~_rerne -aye; Laytor_-a re; Shelton-aye; Swetnam-afire; Young-afire;
said bill was a ccordingly read and approved by i~ia~*or li~i.lger.

Young; moved that Bill Igo. 353A-l~ being bill amer.di.ng certain
parts of Section 3 of Ordinance T"o. 253R1a., of the City of Riverside,
Missouri and enactinm new provisi ns for license fees in lieu thereof
to be pbtained by the operators of various clai.ssific~tions of
businesses ~s listed therein be placed on 'its first r.-ading, seconded
by Bailey, the roll was called and votes were as f ollo~s: Bailey-a,ye;
Brenner-aye;Laytoi~-a,ye;Shelton-a,ye;Swetnam-aye;Young-afire; Eill No. 353A-4
was accordi_n_gly read,
Bailey moved that rules be suspended and Bill I~:o. 353A-1~ be pl<~ced
on its second reacling,seconded by Young- ~a~~x#~x The roll ryas called and

on its third reading and if same be approved it became Bill No. 353A-4s
seconded by Brenner, the roll was called and votes were as follows:Bailey-

353A-!} wasa ccordingly read, apprvoed by Mayor Filger and became Ordl No.
353A-4.
Swetnam moved beat Bi7.1 No.B~-A-4 being bill amdnding
Ord. T?o. ~7-3 of the City of Riverside, Missouri, by repealing Section
25 thereof and enacting a new section in 1'.~eu thereof, seconded by Shelton,
the roll was called and votes were as follows:Bailey-aye;Brenr.er-afire;

Bremer moved that rules be s~pended and B~ 11 Tao. 87-A-~ be

appropriation of money out of the general fund of the City of R verside,
