December 3, 1968 A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Mo., was held in the City Hall in Riverside, N'issouri on Decemb'r$helton8~ at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Brenner, 1~ Swetna u were present, Layton present the later portion of meetin~,~~~ ~~~tF'ilger calling; s~ id meeting to order. Young spoke regard~.ng a City Cigarette tax, anc s toted, there wasmore information to b e obtained. Nir. Woodside inquired regarding building in the bottom land, stated he was acquiring some ground and wanted to know what type of building required, and also vranted to know if could put in an office trailer to get by temporarily and planend to eventuel.ly put everything under one roof. He was advised to complete applicati n and plot plan. I~'•r. Neff of Commonwealth Theatres - Riverside Drivein stated thatwould like to have Riverside ~~~se Boulevard as a oneway street or boulevard, a s there were two accidents on the Blvd. recently and that it ~~ auite dangerous, stared he spoke to the Police Department and the Police IDepa,tment stated that this was probably the only solution to the matter and it would be ?n order to make it a oneway street or boulev~r~d. Mr. Kalivas inquired with regard to having his streets dedicated to the city and have the city maint~~n them, and wanted to know the procedure to ~:o through, statedTheemotterew~ou~ld haveeto~eKreferredrtoet he`Citys Circle and Karen Boulevard. Engineer and City Attorney. He also wanted to know what co,mld be done Pbout making Manden Road through to Northmoore, and he was advised that the engineer wou7.d also have to be asked and check into the matter. He also dated he wanted a letter for his loan people sta tine. that he U.,as hooked into the City Sewer system. Pir. Kalivas also wanted to get an s~ ~ licati n for a liquor license as he stated he was going to have a clu}~ house andw anted to know if he could get liquor license. Ser.eker met with the parkville city council an d they passed a resolution to approve our dispatcher program, they would like to have this done by contract and he wanted the perm ssion to contact City attorney to draw up contract.
