A regular meeting of the board of aldermen of City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City Hall in btiverside,Missouri on November 1y,
1968, and at 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Bailey, Brenner
Layton, Shelton, Swetnam, and Young were present, (Young absent for
roll call) Mayor Filger calling said meeting to order.
Minutes of November 5, 1J68, were read and accepted ad read,
~reasurer~s report for month of October, 196u, was read and accepted.
Thomas Hoskins applied for permit to put a trailer as watch service
at the White Bus company.
Mr. Baker presented letter to have rezoning so as to put up a
100 apartment project. This matter was referred to Zoning B~:ard.
Bob Peterie applied for permit for shooting park, on Tillison Lane.
Parkville Volunteer Fire Department spoke and wanted help financially
for the fire department, wanted to know how much they could expect
out of Riverside. Was advised the City would like to have a list
of the places 3n Riverside that have contributed and the names of
the people which have not.
Young moved that the Police Department be given authority to
spend $1,000.00 more on the remodeling of the Police Department
facilities in the City Hall, seconded by Layton, tine roll was called
and motion unanimously passed.
Discussion °.~as had with regard to getting bids on the parking
facility at the City Hall.
Layton mo %ed that Bill N~.3~.3-/)~ being bill imposing upon Missouri
Cities Water Company the Duty of collecting and remitting to the City
the City's Charges for rentals for serwerservice;providing for a penalty
for non-compliance herewith and authorizing the mayor to enter into an
agreement for the reimbursement of all expenses of said collecti:>n and
remissons, be placed on its first reading, seconded by Shelton, the roll
was called and votes were as follows: Bailey-aye; Brenner-aye; Layton-aye;
Shelton-a,ye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; Bill No 3 3-/1 was accordin:,ly read.
Shelton maed that rules be suspended and Bill No 3}~~i.l-be placed on
its secondreading, seconded by Bailey, the roll was called and votes were
as follows: B$ley-aye; Brenner-aye; Shelton-aye; Layton--aye; gwetnam-aye;
Young-ale; Bill No.3~3-~j was accordingly read. _
Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No 3~3-/J be placed on
its third reading and upon passage of same become Ord. No .j ~/~, seconded
by Bailey, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Bailey-a6e'
Brenner--ace; Layton a;,~e; Shelton-aye; Swetriam-aye; Young aye; Bill No3~3i~
was accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and became ~v¢?inance No .j ~J
Layton moved that Bill No .9 77f~being bill amending Ordn No. 3J~7 ZA
by repealing the existing page two of Exhibit A hl~ereto and substituting
the attached corrected page two, seconded by Shelton, the roll was called
and v;;tes were as follows: Bailey-aye; Brenner-aye; Layton-aye; Shelton-
aye; Sw~nam -aye; Yojng-aye; Bill No.31~~~ as accordingly read.

Swetnam moved that Bill No. D 68-22 be placed on its first reading
said bill being for appropriation of ~.noney out of the general fund oi'
the City for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein,
secon~ued by Shelton, the roll was called and votes were as follows:
Bailey-aye' Brenner-aye; Layton-aye; Shelton-aye; B$~etnam-aye;
young-aye; Bill No. D-E8-22 was accordingly read.
Shelton moed that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-68-22 be placed
on its second erading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes
were as fellows: Bailey-aye' Brenner-aye; Shelton-aye; Layton-aye;.
Swetnaa-aye; Young aye; Bill No. D-68 22 was accordingly read.
Bailey mo~.~d that rules be suspended and Bill No. D-$8-22 be placed
on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ordinance No. D-'~8-22
secon:~ed by Swetnam, the roll was called and votes were asfollows:

Bill Nc. D-68-22nwwas accordingly read, approved by Mayor Filger and
became Ord. No. D 68-22.
Young moved meeting adjourn, so further business, meeting adjourned.
