A regular Meetinf of the Board or Aldermen of City or Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City pall in Riverside, Missouri on September 1'(,
~9b8, at ts:OU p.m. and upon a roll call, aldermen Baileys Layton, Shelton,
Swetnam, and Young were present, Brenner absent for roll call mut present
remainder of meeting, Mayor Filger ca111ng said meeting do order.
Minutes of September, 19013 were read and accepted e a read. '1'reanaure
report For month or August, 1908 wsa reed and accepted as rasa.
J. F. Goodman of Srcyline tnn presented plans fora i2 unit building
and his application was approved, issuing building permit No. bt3-9.
Mr. John west presented plena fora new building For Structo Co. and
also stated they would like to go on record ae compleinig about the
asphalt plant making too much smoke and duet a~ the present time and it
would interfere with their business and Mr. Sheer a dviaed new ea trying
to mend the situation. Mr. Sheer admitted it x ea not worxing property
and he will try to cie r it up. Mr. Gls~n Teel stated that Industrial
Spring Corporation wsa moving in the new building in snout 30 days and
tnis dust would interfere with their work. Mr. west¢'s application was
approved and issued building permit No. !i~-10.
Brenner taoved that trill No. 343-14 oeing bill providing for the canvassing
~f' the returns of the Special l;lection of the ~udgess held on August 27,
x.968, ror the rates to be charged for the axe and services of the sanitary
sewage system oP the City oi' xiversids, Missouri, seconded by Swetnam, the
roll xea called and votes were as Follows: Bailey-eye; Brenner-eye;
Layton-eye; Shelton-eye; Swetnam-eye; Young-eye; Bill No. 3l}3-]J;. was accordingl

Bailey moved that rules besuspandad and Bill No. 343-14 be placed on its
second reading, seconded by Swetnam the roll wed called and votes were as
Follows: Bailey-eye; Brenner-aye; ~+eyton-aye; Shelton-eye; Swetnam-eye;
Young-s ye; Bill No. 343-14 wed accordingly read.
Brenner moved that rule: be suspended and Bill No. 3~3-1h be placed on its
third reading and upon passage of a ame become Ord. No. 3q.3-11}, seconded by
Shelton, the roll was called and votes ware as follows: Bailey-eye; Brenner-ey
Shelton-eye; Layyton-aye; Swetnam-aye; B]Ceung-eye; Bill No. 313-1!} was according
read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. 343-14.
Swetnam moved that we approve the plat oP Indian Hills ivortn r'irst Platt,
and that Bill No. 2!}o-il ne placed on its secondereading and that rules be
suspended, seconded by Brenner, the roll was called and vo~.es ware a a follows;

Swetnam moved that we approve the Police court Judge~'a recommendation that
tae Police Court Clerks salary be increased from the present Monthly a alary
