A re;ular meeting of tt.e Board of Aldermen of Ciby of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City Hall at z :GO p.m. on Au;~,_~st 6, 1y68, and
upon a roll call, aldermen Brenner, Layton, Shelton, Swetnam, Young
were present, Bailey, absent and Mayor Filoer callaing said meeting to
order.
Minutes of regular meeting of July 16, 1y68, were read and accepted.
Collector's report for month of Jf~ly, 1y68 was read and accepted.
The Gas Company inquired with re:_jard to bruin, holes in the
streets of Riverside and said they wo~{ld within the day apply for the
permit.
Mrs. Keatin-; inquired with re and to permit to build a well, and
she was advised that the b~.~ilding over the wei~l wmzld have to have a
building permit, however it was sug.,;ested that she contact the Health
Department at Platte City before starting such c nstruction.
Mr. Sheal applied for business application to operate the asphalt
plant.
Mr. Steve Brauner, a~~orney for the drive in theatre advised that the
hea.,y trucks were using the street called Riverside Street, making dust
and breakin the surface, he would like something done about this situation,
and it was sugested that the said street be made a boulevard, and upon
Motion by Youn; that said street be Riverside Boulevard, seconded by
~yto Bill No. 206R2A was placed on its first reading and votes were as
ows: Bailey, absent; Brenner-aye; Layton-aye; Shelton-aye; Swetnam-aye;
Young-aye; Bill No. 206R@2a was accordingly read.
Brenner moved that rules be suspended and Bill No. 206R2A be placed
on its second reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll wqs called and votes
were as follows: Bailey-absent; Brenner-aye; Layton-aye; Shelton-aye;
Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; Bill No. 206R2A was accordingly read.

Swetnam moved that/Bill No. 206R2A be placed on its third reading
and ilpon passage of same become Ord. No. 206$2A, seconded by Layton, the
roll was called and votes weee as fellows: Bailey-absent; Brenner-aye;
Luton-aye; Shelton-aye; Shwetnam-aye; Young-aye; and Bill No. 2v6$2A was
accordingly read, approved by Mayro Filger and became Ordinan_:e No. 206R2A.
Shelton moved that the Police department be given permission to buy
cleainin;~ supplies in the sum of $38.90, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was
Balled and votes were as follows: Bailey-a6e~nt; Brenner-aye; Layt„n-aye;
Sheltna-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; ~~x
Layton mimed that Bill No. D-68-15 bean, bill proving for the appropriatic
of Money og~t of the ;eneral fund of the City of Riverside, Missouri, be
placed on its first reeding, seconded by Sw:tnam, the roll was called and

Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; Bill No. D-6~-15 was accordingly read.

approved by Mayor Filer and became Ord. No. D-6~-15,
