A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of River-
side, Missouri washeld on February 6, 198, in the City Hall in Riverside,
Missouri t 8:00 p.m. and upon a roll call, alder-en Klemm, Shelton,
~~aetnam and Young were present, Mayor Filger calling said meeting to
order, Aldermen Clark and Layton we a a'nsent.
Minutes of regular meeting of January 16, 1968, were read and
accepted.
Mr. Garnet' of Garnet' Plumbing Company, inq wired with regard to
property he was interested in to move his business and wanted to know
how the City felt about having the property rezoned, and after a discussi:,n
it was decided that Mr. Garrey would try to find property elsewhere to
mos~e his business.

and upon passage of same become Ord. No. 343-11, seconded by awetnam,
the roll was cal led and votes were as follo~r~s: Clark-absent; Layton-absent;
Klemm-aye; Shelton-aye; swetnam-aye; Youngs-aye; Bil1No. 343-11 was according)
read, approved by Mayor Filger and became Ord. No. 343-11.

requirement for the issuance of a building permit for an apartment house
or other multtple occupancy building provision shall bemade by the
applicant for not less tha~hntwo free off-street papliing spaces per living
unit,be placed on its first reading, seconded b9 Klemm, the roll was
called and votes were as follows: Clark-absent; Klemm-aye; Layton-absent;
Shelton-aye: swetnam-eve; Young-aye; 'Bill ~o. 2~5A5~~was accordingly read.
Klemm moved that rules he suspended and Bill hTo. 255A5 be placed
en its second reading, seconded by swetnam, the roll was c ailed and votes
were r.s follows; Clark-absent: Klemm-sye; Layton-absent; Shelton-aye;
swetnam-eve; Young-ayey 'gill No. 255A5 was accordingly read;
Shelton moved that rules be s usp~nded and Bill No. P55A5 be placed
on its third reading and upon passage of same become Ordinance Nc. ~ 55A5,
seconded by Klemm, the r oil was called and votes were as follows: Clark-abser
Klemm-aye; La>=ton-absent; Shelton-aye; swetnam-aye; Young-aye, /bill
Nc. 255A5 was accordingly r sad, approved by Mayor Filger and became
Ordinance No. 255A5.
Young moved that the City order an ordince that all residential
buildings have toput in a dc.uble driveway (2 cars wide), seconded by
Klemm, the roll was called and votes were asf ollows: Clark-absent;
Klemm-aye; Layton-absent; Shelton-sye; swetnam-aye; Young-aye.
Shelton moved that Mr. Mendenhall give us a bid on clearing
all the street right of~•~ays, seconded by Klan,m, the roll was c ailed and
votes were a s follows: Clark-absent; Klemm-aye; Layton-absent; Shelton-age;
swetnam-aye; and Young-aye/
The council approved of the Police Department order'ne~ a new
1968 Dodge car, for a d'..rference of 3G1,670.00.

April, 1968, the time of our Cj.ty~s general election.
Shelton moved that Mr. Dorsey advise the council whether there
isscmething in the State Statutes or whether an ordnance can be passed
with regard to council members, or other city officials, missing so many
meetings or be3.ns~ absent, would be cause to replace them, seconded by
Swetnam, the roll etas called and votes were as Follows: Clark-absent;
Klamm-aye; Shelton-ape; Layton-absent; Swetnam-aye; and Young-ale.
Klammmoved that Bill No. D-68-3 being bill providing for the
e;; propri^tion of money out of the goner ~ 1 fund of the City o f Riverside,
Missouri for the payment of certain indebtedness as listed therein b e
placed on its first reading, seconded by Swetnam, the roll was called and
votes were as follo*aa: Clark-absent; KlatAl!-aye; Layton-abssnt; Shelton-aye;
Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; Bill No. D-68-3 was accordingly read.

seconded by Swetnam., the roll was called and votes were: as follows:
Clark-absent; Layton-absent; Klamm-aye; Shelton-aye; Swetnam-aye;
Young-aye; Bill No. D-6?-3 was accordingly read.
