Application for building an addition to Skyline Inn was/,;ranted
to Mr. Goodman.permit for same.
Tyr. C. A . Koehler - Riverside Platte Development Corp. presented
plans for an addition and also sewer drain~~ge in Indian Hills.
Jerry Allen advised he was rep res~:ntative of insurance company
and wanted to sell hospitalization and other insurance to the men on the
police force, hew as requested to give all information to the Police Committee.
Don Beatty of Missouri T-:unicipal Leagu® inquired whether Riverside
would like to join the League and advised the f9_rst year's fee would b e
X6!}.00 and teen thereafter it weuld be on a 3~ per person basis b ased on
the population.
(- Young moved that weaccopt membership, seconded by Shelton,
"-' the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-absent; hlamm-aye;
Layton-al~r~ Shelton-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye.
Shelton moved that we accept resolution No. 11, which opposes
and objects to the proposed rezoning from District R-1-A to District R-A
for the proposed use as a site for a~:mobile h:;mes court of land described
as set forth in Exhibit, A, attached thereto and sriade a pert thereofby
reference. The a:plicatn for s aid r ezoning is Jim I~`cCullan, secondedby
Klemm, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Clark-absent; Klamrn-aye
Layton absent; Shelton-ays; Swetnam-aye; `young-aye.
Mr. Dorsey was advised to furnish a copy of this resolution
to the County Court and also the Water Pollution Board.
Resolution No. 1?_ was moved to be approved and accepted by
Swetnam, seconded by Shelton and votes were as follows: Clark-aosen t;
Klemm-aye; Layton-absent; Shelton-aye; Swetnam-aye; and Young-aye; said
resolution concerned the necessity to grade, pave and curb and gutter
Cerrito Lane in Seven Uaks Addition.
Shelton moved that resolution No. 13 be accepted, said
resolution provided for E. I. Myers, acting city engineer to prepare
plans and specific~ti ns for the improvement of Cerrito Lane,e tc.,
seconded by Young, the roll was called and voles were as follows:
Clark-absent; Klemm-aye; Shelton-aye; Layton-absent; Swetnam-aye;
Young-aye.
Young moved that the City repair the road on Hi ~
in front of Warr.=n Benner property (fewest a~__C~~ili~mg~'~s~, a e~'~ut
the curbing and take whatever steps necess~r,y to correct the drainage
problem, seconded by Shelton, the roll was called and votes were as
follows: Clark-absent; Layton-absent; Shelton-aye;Klarnmaaye; Young-a~Te.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
