R. Klamm to replace the vacancy of councilman in the second ward, for the remainder of the year until the general election, subject to the approval of the council members, upon a roll call Layton, Shelton, Swetnam, Young approved the appointment. Minutes of regular meeting of October 24, 1 967, were r~adr~and approved as read. George Krosdale ~~~~~~ed application for Mike Koska to build t building for retai~ on y t 2La.21 Vivion Road, Riversi{{~~ ~~ ~ ouri. The said epplic:ation for building a building for retail7~~~~~~ the above location was approved subject to the sewage system be approved by l~~r. T~iyers and same comply with the requirements as required by Engineer Myers; upon motion by Sw ~~ d seconded by ~g~yton, i;he application was apiroved for retai~~ai~~~ng and subject to the sewage being approved by E. I. P"yers~ e r~ 1 was called and votes were as follows: Clark, absent; Klamm~~,/e~~on-aye; uwetnam-aye; Young-aye. Lloyc E. Brown presented plans for building a building for sandblasting on Rive rsta7~ee9ltreet, upon motion by Shelton that the application b® a~~proved subject to the building being painted within one year, seconded by Swetnam, L o]]~~,,vZas called and votes were cs follows: Clark-absent; Klamm-ay ~ievl'tedn-aye; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye Young proposed that since winter is arrivin{;, that someone be contracted to removeyl all the trees and brush or whatever it takes to clean the right of w ays, this shmald be done sometime between now and spring, which w ould enable the city to have better streets. Shelton moved that Bill T?o. 343-4 being bill providing for authority given E. I. M~ges, Acting City Engineer, to make application to the United St°tes Government for grants under Public Law 87-88, The Federal Water Pollution Control Ace, for participation by the Government in the construction of an interceptor sewer, seconded by Young, >~ ~r~~~;1,7~~,,~,~es called and votes were as follows: Clark-absent; Klamm-aye, ~~SeZ"t'od-aye; Swetnam-aye; young-aye; Bill INTO. 3L3-4 was accordingly read. Swetnam moved that rules be suspneded and bill no. D-67-19 be placed on its second reading, seconded by KlammLa QQ r 7~ ,was called and votes were as follows: Clark-absent; Klarnm-aye~~S~e~~ ~h~aye; Shelton-aye; -a,ye; Bil1No. D-67-19 was eecordingly read. Minutes of Reg. Meeting Pale 2, Nov. 7, 1967 Swetnam I~:oved that rules be susepnded and Bil1No. D-67-19 be placed on its third reading and upon passage of same become ord. No. D-b7-19, seconded by Klamm, the roll was called and votes were as fol7_ows: Clark- Iaamm ape; Layton-ay®; Shelton-a yo; Swetnam-aye; Young-aye; Bill No. H-67-19 was accordingly read, approved by T~iayor Filger and became Ord.
